Building a Safer Digital World: Cyber security Workshop with AKGEC Students
On September 26th, Securium had the privilege of organizing a cyber security awareness workshop at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College (AKGEC). Our aim was to educate students on the critical importance of cyber security in today’s digital world, emphasizing the need for proactive measures and a safer online environment.
Students engaged in discussions on cyber security fundamentals, the latest in threat prevention, and the essential role technology plays in safeguarding data. This hands-on workshop delved into essential cyber security topics like ethical hacking, cyber defence strategies, and real-world threat analysis. The energy, curiosity, and eagerness of AKGEC students were remarkable—they engaged deeply with practical sessions, posed insightful questions, and showcased a passion for the field.
Beyond awareness, we explored the growing career opportunities in cyber security, providing guidance on how students can build a path in this field. This workshop offered a platform to inspire the next generation of cyber security professionals, showing them how to contribute to a safer, tech-driven future.
