The cybersecurity fundamentals exam is divided into three parts: Attack, Defend, and Build. You’ll be tasked with attacking a target system, investigating and defending against an attack, and hardening systems to prevent future vulnerabilities.

Yes, the OSCC SEC-100 expires after 3 years.

The training offered in SEC-100 is like no other in the market. Over 40 modules expose entry-level cybersecurity learners to three areas of cybersecurity (Offensive, Defensive, and Development). Letting them learn the essentials of each category, and test their hands with challenge labs, learners will understand what area of cybersecurity to focus their careers and additional training.

The course includes one year of lab access. While lab time cannot be extended, OffSec offers the flexibility to upgrade to other training options like Learn One or Learn Unlimited for continued access to labs and other OffSec courses.
